Join us for an unforgettable day of brilliant music making as Bob Chilcott leads us through his choral work, Songs and Cries of London Town. This colourful and bustling set of seven songs captures the sounds and sights of London, with the excitement of street vendors calling, the busy city streets, and the stillness of distant church bells all distilled into a delightfully fun afternoon of singing. This is an opportunity to work the composer himself and we are very lucky that he is returning to Guernsey this year to share his energy and wealth of knowledge with us again.
All scores and materials will be provided on the day. Basic sightreading skills would be useful but all abilities are welcome to join. Music can be provided in advance for anyone wanting a head start.
