The Externi Consort

The Isle Is Full Of Noises

Sublime settings of Shakespeare's texts

14th Sept 24 | 19:30 | Town Church

£15 Tickets on the door

The Festival’s resident consort return to Town Church after a sell-out performance last year, this time for a weekend of words and music. This programme explores settings of Shakespeare’s texts by composers spanning the 20th and 21st century, with a contemporary twist on The Bard’s timeless words. This professional choir, directed by Joseph Edwards, is formed of singers that regularly work with The Sixteen, Tenebrae, and The Monteverdi Choir, among many others across the UK and Europe. Since 2022 they have been the resident choir of the Guernsey Choral Festival.
