The extraordinary energy of Naveen Arles is heading to Guernsey for a workshop residency in October. He will be visiting schools around the island to run singing days with their choirs. Naveen is renowned for this infectious enthusiasm for choral music and specialises in making singing fun, enriching, and accessible to everyone.

About Naveen

Naveen Arles BCA FRSA has established himself as an energetic, inspirational vocal leader and animateur.  Founder of MDBrunch, he has 30 years of creating singing groups of all ages and skills with an ability to motivate people to music delivering workshops in settings as diverse as senior management training courses to regular prison work, resulting in being selected to receive the British Citizen's Award (BCA).

 

His choirs have toured with Hugh Jackman, Take That, performed with George Ezra, Alexandra Burke, for HRH King Charles III and Michelle Obama.  Nav sits on the Association of British Choral Directors (ABCD) Council and both their and Hal Leonard Europe’s EDI Working Groups.

 

Nav directs London Youth Choirs’ Cambiata Boys, New Young Voice Collective (NewYVC), Centre for Young Musicians’ vocal musicianship (CYM), SCITT training for Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex alongside various Big Sing projects through Spitalfields Music, LYC and the world famous Tenebrae choir.
